  Seminole Coconut Creek Casino

The 45,000 square-foot Coconut Creek Casino is located in northern Broward County, only a 10 minute drive from Boca Raton.

At present, the casino offers more than 1,510 gaming machines, 15 poker tables and bingo. But like the other five Seminole casinos in Florida, Coconut Creek cannot offer real slots, or games like blackjack, roulette and craps -- all of which fall into the category of Class III gaming. The gaming machines are actually class II video devices that look like slot machines, but are actually bingo games and the spinning reels are for "entertainment purposes only."

The Seminoles hope to transform the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek into a destination resort with a 24-story, 1,500-room hotel; a 160,000-square-foot casino; a 2,500-seat concert venue; and 150,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and offices.

The hotel would have three-times as many rooms as the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Hollywood. The complex's nine-story parking garage would be five stories higher than the next tallest building in the city.

The casino is located on on Northwest 54th Street, just east of State Road 7 in Coconut Creek, Florida .
